Studio

Situated in the heart of Noordhoek on the Southern Peninsula of Cape Town, South Africa, The Eatwell Studio is on the main road directly opposite the Noordhoek Farm Village. Built to create the feeling of an old farm, complete with ducks and geese, this charming smallholding is the location for Lynne-Marie’s studio. It also serves as the private residence for her and her family.

The main house is also used to display work from the Eatwell family, Eric Oswald Eatwell and Mags Eatwell, as well as a small picture framing business run by Tom and Mags. Visitors are welcome to arrange a viewing or ring the bell at the gate.

The family periodically arranges open studio events and if you would like to be included on the mailing list, please subscribe through the form on the Contact page or follow “Eatwell Gallery” on Facebook.

A brief history

Soon after moving from Johannesburg and settling in Noordhoek in 2001, Lynne, Mags and Eric opened The Eatwell Gallery. Located at the Noordhoek Farm Village, this small space was dedicated to exhibiting the work of the Eatwell family. It also served as a studio and allowed visitors the opportunity to get to know and see the artists at work. After eight years, the studio was closed to allow the artists time to travel and study abroad.

In May of 2013, the family moved to an idyllic property across the road from the popular Noordhoek Farm Village where they built the new studio and home.

The new setting allows the artists the freedom to travel and more space in which to be creative. Visitors are welcome to make an appointment to see the studio or to just ring the bell at the gate for picture framing and to see the art.
